Inspired by ancient civilizations, the Mediterranean, and the romantic city of Istanbul, where she grew up, acclaimed designer, Lika Behar, creates unique and intimate works of wearable art. Her hand-wrought individual designs are made using ancient jewelry making techniques from ancient Greek and Byzantine times. Much of the artisanal work is one of a kind, unique, and as different as the ethically sourced striking gemstones she uses.
