Why Blue Heron Is Raising Donations in February

LIFE IS WHY

In 2022, our Blue Heron Jewelry family lost a valued team member, Mike Clark.  Mike passed away after a long struggle with various heart health issues.  He radiated passion for diamonds, jewelry, and truly loved his chosen career.  He made deep connections with the clients he met while working at our store; they felt his genuine interest in their reasons for selecting a special piece of jewelry.  He had a quick smile that made his eyes crinkle, and he loved coming to work every day, even on the difficult health days.  Mike was a special person and just wanted to make an impact with his life, which he did on us and our customers.

His dedication to living a meaningful life and sparking with joy to everyone he met, won’t soon be forgotten.  Because of his impact on the Blue Heron Jewelry family, we knew we needed to create this fundraiser in his honor.  The American Heart Association’s “Life is Why” is the perfect way to help people with heart health issues while continuing to honor Mike’s approach to life by helping others.  

Mike’s story is our “Life is Why” reason for supporting The American Heart Association.

Fundraising Details

Blue Heron Jewelry is a proud supporter of the American Heart Association’s “Life is Why” fundraising campaign and will have a special promotion in February 2023.  From February 7th to 25th, all sales of any in-stock red or pearl gemstone jewelry items, any red or burgundy leather bracelets and any men’s jewelry from our INOX line will generate a 20% donation of the sales price.  Blue Heron Jewelry will match these donated funds thereby doubling the positive effect!

Clients who visit our retail store may choose to make a separate donation of $1, $5, $10 or $20 even if they don’t wish to purchase a jewelry item.  For every $20 donation we have a special thank you gift.  Everyone who donates will be entered in our raffle of a Blue Heron Jewelry Swirl Collection limited edition 14K yellow gold pendant set with a beautiful red ruby.  Blue Heron Jewelry will also match these additional donations to further support the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association!
