Leo Fried has been creating jewelry for over thirty years. Self
taught, he first started out working for the company Bagley
and Hotchkiss in Sonoma County, California. He soon moved up
to Seattle in 1977 with his wife, Terry. Interested in establishing
his own business, Leo started selling his original designs at
the Pike Place Market. It wasn’t long after that Leo and
Terry fell in love with the small town of Poulsbo. Leo continued
to work at Pike Place until 1988, even after opening his store
a few years earlier. Leo and Terry have been in Poulsbo ever
since and are now established members of the community. Leo
is a member of the North Kitsap Rotary and is involved with
many projects around the community including Poulsbo’s
new Fish Park. |
